ConservationNEXT’s Seattle Backyard Collective

Volunteers at the Backyard Collective event in Bend, Oregon on May 8th. Stanley nineteen13 Stainless Steel water bottles were given to all the volunteers so no disposable bottles were used while they cleaned up the park.

We were a proud sponsor of this year’s Conservation Alliance Backyard Collective events in Bend, OR, Portland, OR and in our home-town of Seattle, WA.

On May 29th we worked with Cascade Land Conservancy, Outdoor Research, Patagonia and other local outdoor businesses to restore Seattle’s forested parklands in and around Lincoln Park. In addition to being on the ground in Seattle, we donated nineteen13 Stainless Steel Water Bottles to all the events in Seattle, Bend and Portland for volunteers to use instead of disposables.

The Backyard Collective (ByC) event series is an on-the-ground piece of ConservationNEXT that invites members of The Conservation Alliance to participate in environmental, community clean up activities with other business member’s employees. The Cascade Land Conservancy works locally with the City of Seattle, businesses, schools, community groups and individuals as part of the Green Seattle partnership, one of the largest public-private forest restoration programs in the United States.
