Stanley Reminds Me of my Parents

This was my father's Stanley, it's old and has lot scratches and dents on it and it's still going. Dad passed and now I have it and I will pass it on to my sons.

I remember when I was a little girl; my Mother would fix my Father's lunch and put it in big old Stanley lunch box with the biggest old green thermos tied to the handle. I would wait for my Father to come home from working on the Dam in Kingman, AZ just to see if his coffee was still hot and it would be. Sometime, my Mother would make him Hot Cocoa and he will always leave a little bit in Stanley and bring it home for me to drink and it would taste just like it was made the way my Mom made in morning. Yep, those were the good old days, sure do miss my parents, but this Stanley always reminds me of my parents.

Thanks, Stanley for the memories, now I have seen the color ones and looking to get a pink one because I just became a 1st time grandmother. A beautiful baby girl and I hope I can leave wonderful memory for her like my parents did for me.
