Stanley Saved the Day

Crabbing through the Bering Sea ice in the winter at ten below can be very challenging at times. An old buddy and I decided to try hand-lining for crab 40 miles down the coast. Taking along crab bait usually freezes going that distance behind in my sled. So I looked at my Stanley and it was the right length to transport my bait in. The bait stayed thawed and we caught crab that day. My old buddy said your thermos saved the day.
