My grandpa's green Stanley. My grandpa loved his coffee hot. He would almost always embarrass us because he never let the waitress fill his coffee cup over half full because he didn't want the coffee to cool down. He said that Stanley was the best because it kept his coffee hot when he was on the road with his insurance company. I would get to go with him once in a while as a special treat and remember him pouring steaming hot coffee out of his Stanley bottle. He and my grandma used to also take trips all over the US. Their Stanley was always with them on their trip. They enjoyed their coffee and wanted it HOT!

I was on the computer looking for a Stanley lunch box to give for a present. I did know that there were so many, I found out some of them were worth a lot of money. The one that I wanted was $75.00. The reason that I wanted this one is because I have one like it that I bought in November 1990. I use it 30-40 times a year hunting and fishing. I have not had any trouble with it or with the thermos. When I go fishing in the summer and it is hot, I put a small sandwich bag full of ice cubes on one side of the lunch box and it keeps my food cold until 2am. I will never part with my Stanley lunch box or thermos.

Greetings, I would like to start this message by saying that my family and I are Hurricane Katrina survivors and that this email is long overdue. I would simply like to thank you for taking the time to truly make a product that is beyond reproach. On August 28th, my family and I were evacuated by bus to the Baton Rouge area because the hurricane was less than 24 hours from making landfall. It was a morning that shall stay with me for many reasons, some personal (even trite), and some too obvious to even mention. My family and I left Orleans Parish with three days worth of clothes, and my thermos. To this day, I still don't know why I grabbed that at the last minute as we left our apartment for what was to be the last time. By just after 5 a.m. on the morning of August 29th, we lost electricity and water. It was an unusually hot summer even by Southern Louisiana standards. What most people didn't think about was that without electricity, you had no air-conditioning; no way of escaping the heat. You can thus imagine what it was like having no water on top of such horrendous conditions (ironically, the city was flooding). By a stroke of luck, my son and I came across a small supply of ice. Your thermos kept ice cubes frozen for almost 24 hours. I don't know if you can imagine what that meant to us. I am well aware of the guarantee that you place on your products, which is why I bought your product in the first place. While I know that it comes with a lifetime guarantee, I wanted you to know that you will have the gratitude of my family and I forever. My sincerest thanks again.

I have always been one to say that you get what you pay for. Well I received more than I paid for when I purchased a Stanley thermos. Recently, I was called in to my job for an emergency customer issue. It was late at night, so I brewed a pot of coffee and poured it into my Aladdin thermos before rushing in to work. I poured myself one cup before starting my shift and sat the thermos down. The night was very hectic and I forgot about the thermos and the remaining coffee. I went home and got some sleep before returning to work that afternoon. Before the end of the day, a co worker called me to ask if I was missing a thermos. I picked up the thermos and for kicks, poured myself a cup of coffee. IT WAS STILL STEAMING ! The coffee had been in the thermos for about 26 hours and was perfect temperature for sipping. That is impressive. The guys at work call it the Super Thermos. Today, I'm going to rub it and see if a Genie pops out. Thanks for a quality product.

Hi, just wanted to say thank you. 7 years ago I bought a green Aladdin Stanley steel thermos when I worked graveyard on a security position. Over the last 7 years it has been by my side through about 4 different jobs including Sr. Loan Officer with H&R Block Mortgage where I am now. I have never had a thermos work as good as this one and still to this day can’t believe that it holds my coffee hot for over 8 hours. I have had this the last 7 years and it still is so awesome. I broke the green top to it yesterday when it dropped about 2 ft off of my desk and shattered but the thermos itself is still in perfect condition. I am so very impressed with this. I am using this excuse to buy a new one but just wanted to let you know that I will be buying another Stanley thermos and would never buy anything different. This is by far one of the few products that I have ever used that I can honestly say has never let me down. Just thought you might enjoy the comment. Thanks and will be buying another as soon as payday rolls around again. God bless.

I recieved several of your vaccuum bottles as gifts. I find them to be very useful. I take them with me at work, fishing, road trips, even to the laundry. One is always by my side, in hot weather & in cold. It's as if they are a part of the family. I work for a public works dept. and this winter with all the cold snow we had, it was particularly useful when I was out in the middle of the night plowing. Nothing was open, but I had my vacuum bottle full of hot coffee to keep me warm and going. I can't tell you how useful these bottles have been. I only wish I had discovered them early in life. I would gladly test new Stanley products. Keep up the good work.

I used to be a security guard on a construction site. One day, the crane operator was on the 24th floor and he accidentally kicked his thermos. The bottle rolled out of the crane. He screamed look out and I jumped back to see the thermos land on the ground. No coffee spilt out.

I am retired from the United States Army, which I served in for more than twenty years. For fourteen years of that, my Aladdin-Stanley thermos soldiered right along with me. This is the toughest thermos I have ever owned and in fact is almost as tough as some of the soldiers I served with. It has really taken a beating over the years of my career and always served me well. As an example, on an Air Assault training mission over the swamps of Fort Stewart, Georgia, I accidentally dropped my (full) thermos of coffee out of the open doors of the helicopter I was sitting on the deck plates of. We were about 150 feet up and traveling at a high rate of speed and I was very perturbed to have dropped it. Fortunately, it was a day mission and I dropped it not far from our LZ, so I quickly marked the location on my map and noted the landmarks below. After landing and completing our training mission I immediately "humped" the five clicks back to the spot and searched diligently for my thermos. Being bullet shaped, it had fallen cup down and stuck in the ground where the sun shining on the bottom guided me right to it! Man, I was glad to see that thermos and the coffee was still hot! On another occasion, while working in the track park with my squad on our M113 armored personnel carrier, I was working on the drive sprocket and directed the driver to pull a short distance forward, which he did, right onto my Stanley thermos! Man, I was hot about that, but it was my fault. I directed the driver to back up expecting to see my thermos smashed beyond repair, but it only had one small dent in the bottom from the track grouser. That's after being run over by a fourteen ton armored vehicle. That's what I call soldier tough! I still have this thermos and I am more fond of it than many of my other possessions. Like I said, it's tough, old and ugly now, sort of like it's owner, but I figure we're both good for another twenty or so years of service. Good job guys, too bad most other things aren't made this well and perform so reliably! Thanks for the hot coffee on some of those very cold, very uncomfortable and sometimes very dangerous posts during my career. I sure do appreciate it. Best Regards, Charles P. My son-in-law and I had been out on a fishing trip and was on our way home when we realized we had a flat on the boat trailer. Out in the middle of nowhere and no jack to use on the trailer once we got the tire off so the only thing I had was my Stanley thermos. So I told him we would use the thermos to hold the boat and trailer up and that is exactly what we did. I still have the old thermos and I carry it with me in my boat compartment to this day. I stand behind Stanley 100% it is a great product. Thank you very much for letting me tell my story.
