Stanley reminds me of hot, hot soup on a cold, cold day. My favorite memory is when I left my thermos on the roof of the car. I then drove 2 miles. When I braked hard, my Stanley flew right by me. I stopped, got out, and it was still good as new. Keep up the good work!

Once, when I was riding my motorcycle at 70mph, my Stanley fell. When I came back to get it, it was working perfectly. Those scratches weren't damage - they were experience. My Stanley doesn't leak, it keeps stuff hot for a long, long time - and it's mine.

Going fishing or camping with Dad approximately 35 yrs ago. He always had his Stanley thermos. It kept his coffee warm all day long. I would like to say he still has it but I just don't know. I now have my own business. I'm on the biggest job I ever had working long hours. One day I decided I needed a thermos to put my tea in so I went on the hunt. Stanley was the only thing that came to mind. I found one at Walmart. It keeps my tea hot all day long. I just love it. I take it everywhere I go. Thank you for still making them.

My favorite Stanley memory is:
I have a latest way to get a Stanley. About 5 years ago, opening weekend of fishing in Manitoba, I was out on Lake of the Wood, Buffalo Bay. I was trolling along for walleye and noticed something bobbing in the water. I trolled over to the thing and noticed that it was a thermos floating top up. I retrieved it with a net and the thermos was in fine shape except for the top. I opened it and discovered it almost full of frozen coffee. I believe that it had been lost during the ice fishing season and after ice out, which had just taken place, it was just floating around. I cleaned the thermos and purchased a new top and still use it today.

I have carried my Stanley since 1974 and it has never failed me. It keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold. My biggest problem was finding replacement parts for it. Now that I found your website, my mind is at ease. I still didn't find any handles for sale, yet, though I'll keep searching. It still works fine without the handle. Here is to another 30+ years of carrying the Stanley!

My favorite Stanley memory is:
I just bought my second Stanley {same style} a couple of weeks ago. My first one, which I still have has been dropped enough times that the cap will not thread anymore. I will not get rid of it because it was a gift from a precious friend, Larue Nelson, who I have not seen for 20 years. I started my general contracting licensed business in 1979 in Mcpherson Kansas. The Nelson brothers were known for their honesty, integrity, and quality of construction that is unmatched. I learned the qualities of my business from them. I cannot find much of this type of integrity to the degree I experienced in the Midwest here in California, though it must exist. SO, everytime I open the cupboard to get out my new one I see the old Stanley and remember all the coffee breaks from the heat of summer to winters that would be well below zero degrees, waiting for what would still be HOT coffee and that thermos is a constant reminder of a friendship I will never forget.
