After my divorce, I moved to Michigan from New Hampshire and brought my Stanley thermos with me. I met a wonderful man who likes to travel on the weekends just to get away.
I drink coffee all day and love it nice and hot, which is why I love my Stanley. On Saturday mornings, I would fill my Stanley thermos with hot water and let it stand till the coffee was done brewing and then I would fill my thermos with nice hot black coffee for the road.
We would just drive till we felt like we needed to stretch our legs and take a break and enjoy the views...usually a Lake. The best part of our break was having nice hot coffee to enjoy! We never take a trip without my Stanley thermos! We do a lot of camping too, and yes we bring Stanley with us! Just for jokes sake, my boyfriend’s father's name is Stanley!
We don't do a lot of road trips anymore, with the gas prices, but wherever we go; my Stanley thermos goes with us!

I am on my third Stanley thermos. Nothing wrong with the first two other than appearance. I still have them. I use my thermos almost everyday to take coffee to work.
My first thermos used to occasionally fall off my motorcycle on the way to work. I would discover it was missing, retrace my steps, and find it by the side of the road. After about the fourth time departing my company on the way to work the outside had enough dents and scrapes that I replaced it with a new bottle (my second one).
I just retired the second one last week and purchased my third, as the outside was worn from rubbing against my lunch box. I thought it was still fine but my wife thought I needed a better looking thermos for hauling my coffee to work. I like the new pouring system with it coming out the side of the stopper instead of the middle. Less mess and a larger opening to pour the coffee into.
Before I started with Stanley, I used to have glass thermos. One drop and they were gone. Cost less to start with, but buying the better product pays off in the long run.

My favorite Stanley memory happened just last week! I have had a Stanley thermos before, but it got all rusted, and I threw it away, got a new one about 6 months ago. I had it stored on a shelf with my microwave oven. I was sitting at the kitchen table, minding my own business, when, all of a sudden, the whole shelf gave way, and everything hit the floor! The floor is ceramic tile, and you can probably guess what happened. The microwave oven tumbled toward me, end over end, and I thought it was coming after me! My thermos lay there in the floor surrounded by lots of broken household items. I picked it up, examined it and it was fine--except the handle was broken. So here I am with a perfectly good Stanley thermos, and no handle to carry it! It was all very traumatic, but the most important part of my thermos was saved.

Early one morning, I was cutting weeds by the railroad tracks and I had set my Stanley thermos on the rail for it was a side track that only was used a few times a month. Well when I finished cutting the weeds I forgot about my thermos.
That night a shifter came in on the tracks. The next morning I remembered where I had left the thermos and I knew it would be smashed so I went and looked for it and found it with a big dent on the side where the train had hit it.
I just knew it would not work, but I took it to work that week and it kept my coffee just as hot as if it was new. The only reason I bought a new one was for the looks because the old, dented one stilled works as good as the day I bought it.

My brother took his Stanley to work in the stone quarry one night. At some point his Stanley fell off his Euc and got ran over by a dozer and buried. He found it two nights later. The Stanley was almost completely flat but the stopper was not hurt. Then he took the stopper off and poured a cup of coffee. He was shocked to find that the coffee was still warm.

While pouring from my Stanley 1 quart classic bottle, a steaming cup of coffee that I'd made myself at home, I turned my head and saw a friend who was staring in amazement at my coffee.
He was longing for a cuppa Joe and refused to pay the exorbitant price in the hotel lobby coffee shop. I had a couple of plastic cups I'd brought from home and offered him one. I told him how pleased I was with Stanley (the name my wife and I call our Stanley bottle). I told him that it always worked and kept my coffee as good at 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon as it was when I poured it in fresh that morning.
I can't remember how many times I've told people that I can make a whole pot of premium coffee at home for about 30 cents and it lasts me all day because I have my Stanley. Stanley goes everywhere with me: work, vacation, and any time I want to keep my coffee hot and fresh.

I work in an office where we are allowed to drink coffee and drinks. We had an engineer that worked with us that brought coffee in his Stanley thermos that looked so weak it looked as though he used the same coffee grounds to brew his coffee all week.
That was over 12 years ago and when I spotted this Stanley in the store it reminded me of this. I recently purchased a motorcycle and needed a thermos to take my coffee to work with me (no cup holder on them) so when I saw the Stanley product I knew from seeing people using them over the years that I was purchasing a quality product. I will now put mine to the test......

The Stanley thermos and insulated lunchbox have been my companions for all of 20 years. I have reliably used this combo since I was in my 20's. I still use them together and have had great memories of self sufficiency and good eats. I always have my cafeteria with me no matter the work environment. Having the knowledge that when noontime hits you're going to have a great meal waiting for you, keeps your focus directed on the task at hand. I'll still be using my Stanley thermos and insulated lunchbox combo, when I retire. That is real dedication and my story.

When I think of Stanley thermos' I think of toughness, mine has survived 2 log truck crashes and 1 91 ford 3/4 ton pick-up total and still works great. It's rusty and bent and there's 1 knot on the side of my head from it still but it still packs coffee on hunting and fishing trips.

I got my first Stanley ten years ago. I have just been to Florida and bought a new one. My best memory is when the hand brake on my car broke and I had too use my flask as a wheel chock to stop my car rolling away while I changed a wheel on the way to work. Unfortunately, this broke the handle but as the flask only had a small dent and no handle, it still works well. I just decided too get a new one while on holiday. This is the best purchase I’ve made and think Stanley makes a brilliant product; very strong and practical for everyday use in the trucking industry. Thanks again for a great product and I hope this one lasts just as well.

It was football season, 1986, and I took my son, who was twelve years old at that time, to see my old hometown high school football team play in the Dallas Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, Texas. On the way back home that night, my son drank coffee for the first time from the big classic thermos.
In the ensuing years, the thermos became known as, “The Game Thermos,” because it was always accompanied us when we would go to out of town games.
When my son graduated from college, and started coaching, I gave him “The Game Thermos.”
My son is now thirty-two, and a high school football coach in Elgin, OK. “The Game Thermos,” is old, and missing a little paint, but it still keeps coffee hot, and accompanies my son when the team he is coaching goes on the road, or he has out of town event to attend.

It was in December of 2005. I had put my thermos of coffee along with several things I need for work that day into my car. I went into work with everything but my Stanley. It had rolled under my seat and I thought that I had forgotten it. 10 hours later when I got into my car to return home I spotted the thermos on the floor. I was surprised when I opened it and the coffee was still hot!
P.S. it was ten degrees that day

I have had a Stanley for a long time then at a garage sale I found an old Stanley thermos, N944 with a cork stopper. It keeps my tea hot all day, just as my newer 20 year old thermos does. I have been looking for a half quart for about 8 years. No one carried it till Walmart finally did. I’ve tried all the want-a-be`s, and they won’t keep stuff warm all day like a Stanley.

Growing up in the mountains on a farm you learn quickly the value of dependable tools. The Stanley thermos's that my father and grandfather carried were as much a part of their tool boxes as their favorite wrench or hammer.
At 15, I purchased my own Stanley (just like my Dads, of course) and it became an indispensable part of my tool box. When I joined the Air Force, my thermos joined with me. When I was sent to Desert Storm so was my Stanley. It served me as faithfully as I served my country.
Many years later, now married with children of my own, my Stanley is still there with a hot cup coffee when I need it (though I have gone through several stoppers and o-rings along the way).
My thermos has been dropped from the roof of a two story house, run over (literally) by my truck, lost in a stream bed for two days on a fishing trip and otherwise worked as hard as any other tool I own. The paint is nearly gone; it is dented all over and to this day, still keeps my coffee hot.
For my last birthday, my wife purchased a new classic steel bottle for me in hopes that I would retire the badly abused one that I had, but I can't bring myself to see it go so it is now my spare.
I look forward to another 20+ years with my new Stanley and thank you for building a quality product that a man can depend on to do exactly what it is meant to do. A lot like your favorite wrench or hammer.

I like to hunt whitetail deer in Pennsylvania during the winter months. While on stand, I carry my Stanley filled with hot tea. My Stanley keeps the tea hot throughout the day even in the freezing weather. When I feel the chill in my bones, I love to pour a hot cup of tea from my Stanley and sip the chill away. Besides seeing a big buck to make me warm, I have hot tea in my Stanley. I also like knowing that Stanley has a lifetime guarantee on my thermos and I can attest to Stanley honoring this guarantee.

I'm an RN in ICC at a San Francisco hospital. I love my Stanley and take it to work religiously full of my delicious hot chocolate. During my lunch hour one afternoon, an out of control patient came through the cafeteria and knocked my Stanley thermos off my table, across the room and into a large support pillar. It has a scar to prove it, but continues to serve me well still carrying my hot chocolate on a daily basis.
