I received the Aladdin Stanley 1.1 quart thermos that I have used for 20 years. The outside was beat up and I used it practically daily. Then I noticed small particles coming out in my coffee and I looked a little closer and when I ran my finger around the inside of the rim, it felt like it was corroded and rusted. I hated to do it but I had to throw it away. I love your products but is heartbreaking to throw it in the trash. It was like getting rid of one of the family!!!!

I received a Stanley Classic quart thermos about 4 years ago. It was a free replacement for another Stanley thermos that would not keep things hot for more than a few hours. This one is an absolute wonder. I filled the bottle with hot coffee at 3:00am and put it in the car and went hunting deer with my two sons. I did not get a chance to drink the coffee until we were driving home at 8:00pm that same day. I tried to drink right from the bottle and it was still so hot I had to pour it in the cup. This was 17 hours later. My sons could not believe it, but the circumstances were proof they could not dispute. I don't believe there could be a better thermos on the market. I'm going to guard this one with my life. Note: I did put hot water in the bottle for 5 minutes before filling it with coffee.

My husband's mother bought him his thermos. He is a truck driver. His bottle has been with him every miles he drives. It has been from Mn. to Fl. and Ma to Ca and lot of places in between. He recently broke his top and had to replace it. Not a day goes by that he and his thermos does not hit the road.

I remember as a young boy having a friend who's father, a loggger, who owned and religiously used his Stanley thermos - work, fishing, whatever the occasion. One day my friend and I were sitting in his father's trailered boat in the garage finding the dented and dinged thermos with some rust spots from the salt water air resting in the hull. We had opened the bottle and quickly found the contents (coffee) inside. I remember the steam coming out of the bottle and the fresh aroma of coffee coming out of it. My friend and I tasted the coffee, still finding the coffee hot after two days of being in the boat and untouched. If I remember correctly, the bottle had a cork stopper versus a screw on stopper (probably lost). It left such an impression on my that I had made up my mind that some day I would purchase a Stanley thermos. A number of years had passed since my discovery. 16 plus years ago I purchased my first Stanley thermos. It has performed flawlessly from the time of purchase. As noted in the story title, not really a story, just a great product. Simple, proven and a real workhorse. Thanks Stanley. Life isn't better, it's GREAT.
